The Ornamental Essentials Program
Round 2
Time to Feed & Start Treating Pest/Disease
Our second Ornamental Tree & Shrub Program treatment is designed to nourish, protect, and strengthen your landscape's ornamental plants. This two-step approach ensures optimal plant health and targeted disease control when needed.
Step 1: Organic Fertilization
We begin by feeding your ornamental plants with a premium liquid organic fertilizer packed with powerful natural ingredients like:
• Fish meal, Kelp meal, Seawater extracts, Humic acids, and Worm compost extracts
• Enriched with a micronutrient pack containing phosphate, potash, magnesium, sulfur, copper, iron, manganese, zinc, and nitrogen.
This powerful combination:
• Encourages vibrant blooms
• Improves root strength
• Helps plants tolerate heat stress
• Promotes lush, healthy growth
Step 2: Targeted Disease Control
For plants showing signs of pests and disease, we apply a dual-action fungicide and a unique pesticide with long-lasting effects and minimal impact on pollinators.
Target Pests:
• Aphid
• Whiteflies
• Lace Bugs
• Scale Insects (mealybugs)
Target Diseases:
• Leaf Spot
• Blight
• Mildew
• Rust
These products are highly effective, but for safety and environmental responsibility, we only apply them when necessary to ensure your landscape is treated with care.
Post-Treatment Instructions:
Wait at least 1 hour before watering to allow the product to absorb and dry.
You or your maintenance crew can verify the timing by checking the date and time on the lawn sign.
Safety and Environmental Effects
• Non-toxic
• Leaves no harmful residue
• Safe for beneficial insects
• Environmentally responsible
This product aligns with our organic-first approach and is one of the safest ways to reduce pest and disease pressure in ornamental landscapes.
Post-treatment instructions
• Wait at least 1 hour before watering
• Maintenance crews can verify timing using the lawn sign
• This is an excellent time to prune woody ornamentals such as crape myrtles
Looking ahead
The next round, exclusive to the 7-treatment Natural State Ornamental Program, focuses on plant health inspection and targeted pest control.
No fertilizer is applied, as the previous round remains active. We use a pollinator-friendly insecticide to eliminate aphids and whiteflies, along with a miticide and insect growth regulator to control mites and prevent future infestations.
