The Ornamental Essentials Program
Round 3
Strengthening Growth
By Round 3, your ornamental trees and shrubs are in full growth mode. This is where we shift back to feeding the landscape, reinforcing everything we’ve built so far in the season.
This visit focuses on delivering a steady supply of nutrients that support continued growth, stronger structure, and improved overall plant performance.
This round is also critical for preventing and controlling scale and bagworms!
What We Are applying
Round 3 centers around a premium granular fertilizer designed to provide consistent, long-lasting nutrition.
Primary application:
A well-balanced, slow-release granular fertilizer that delivers essential nutrients over time, supporting sustained growth, improved color, and overall plant health
Targeted treatment (only if needed):
Plants experiencing heavier pest pressure may receive a targeted blend of insect and mite control products to address active issues without treating the entire landscape unnecessarily
As always, we focus on feeding everything, treating selectively.
What To Expect
Following your Round 3 treatment, you may notice:
Continued improvement in plant color and fullness
Stronger, more consistent growth
Enhanced blooming and overall plant performance
Because this fertilizer releases nutrients gradually, results are steady and controlled, not sudden or excessive.
Post-Treatment Instructions:
To ensure the best results from your treatment:
Please allow at least 1 hour before watering to give the application time to settle
Keep pets and people off treated areas until surfaces are dry (typically 1–3 hours)
There is no need to rinse plants; this application is designed to remain on the foliage
We will leave a clearly visible service sign with the date and time of application, so you and your maintenance crew can easily follow the recommended re-entry window. This helps protect anyone working in the landscape and ensures the treatment is not disrupted before it has time to fully take effect.
