How Our Lawn Treatment Scheduling Works

At Natural State Horticare, we’ve built our scheduling system around one goal: delivering the highest quality treatment possible, not rushing through properties just to hit a time window.

Here’s how our process works and what you can expect:

1. Day-Before Notification
You will receive a text and email around 6:00 PM the day before your treatment letting you know your lawn has been scheduled.

At this time, your property has been assigned to a technician’s route for the following day.

2. Flexible Arrival Window
Rather than assigning rigid appointment times, our technicians run optimized routes based on property size, travel time, and treatment complexity.

This allows us to:

  • Spend the right amount of time on each lawn

  • Maintain consistent, high-quality applications

  • Avoid rushing through treatments

3. Why We Don’t Schedule Further in Advance
We intentionally schedule only one day ahead because lawn care is highly variable.

Occasionally, a technician may not complete their full route due to:

  • Weather interruptions

  • Equipment issues

  • Increased treatment time (heavy weeds, lawn conditions)

  • Client questions or on-site evaluations

  • Traffic or unexpected delays

When this happens, unfinished properties automatically roll into the next service day.

4. If Your Treatment Gets Delayed
If we are unable to complete your treatment as scheduled, your property is automatically prioritized for the next available business day.

We understand this isn’t ideal, and we’re actively working toward better real-time route visibility in the future.

5. Need a Time Estimate?
If you need a more specific arrival window (for pets, gates, etc.), our office team is here to help.

📞 Call or text us anytime between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and we can provide a real-time ETA based on your technician’s route.

6. Our Technician Schedule (Flex Scheduling)
Our team operates on a flexible 4-day work week (10-hour shifts).

  • Typical week: Monday – Thursday

  • If weather delays occur, routes may shift to Friday

  • In some cases, delays may push service to the following Monday

This system allows us to retain top-tier technicians and maintain the level of quality our clients expect.

Our Promise
We know this system requires some flexibility on your end, and we don’t take that lightly.

In return, you get:

  • More time spent on your lawn

  • Better results

  • Safer, more precise applications

  • A highly trained, well-supported team

If you ever have questions or need help coordinating your service, our team is always just a call or text away.

Thank you for trusting us with your lawn.
