Deep Root Injections

“Deep Root Injections” (DRI) enhance your ornamental program by delivering organic fertilizer directly to plant roots.

Using a 2.5-ft probe, fertilizer is injected at 250-300 PSI into multiple points around the plant's drip line. This process nourishes roots and breaks up compact soil, encouraging healthy growth in nutrient-enriched, loosened soil. The larger than plant, the more injections.

- Recommended for clients that express concerns about the health of a particularly valuable and/or sentimental ornamental plant.
- If we identify a particularly valuable ornamental such as a Japanese Maple that is suffering during an onsite consultation we may recommend DRI.
- Pricing Starts at just $20 per plant per round.
- Inject during 1, 2, or all 3 of the liquid organic rounds in the Ornamental Program.
- Priced based on plant size.
  - The larger the plant the more injections
  - For example, a small Japanese Maple my only cost $20 per injection but a 25 foot Green Giant Arborvitae may cost $45 or more.
Deep Root Injections are not a “stand-alone” service and are only sold as an “add-on” to our Ornamental Programs.
Deep Root Injections utilize the same amazing liquid organic products included in rounds 2, 5, & 7 of the Natural State Ornamental program (2, 4, & 5 of the Ornamental Essentials).
Therefore, you can choose to include DRI for designated plants 1, 2, or even 3 times per year.
