Liquid Aeration

Liquid aeration is a liquid soil-conditioning treatment that uses advanced moisture-management technology and carbon-rich organic inputs to improve how water moves through the soil and how the rootzone functions. While it is not the same as true core aeration, it offers important benefits by helping compact or hydrophobic soils absorb water more evenly, improving moisture efficiency, reducing drought stress, and delivering a stronger dose of soil-building organics that support healthier roots and overall turf resilience.

    • Improves water movement and moisture efficiency
Helps water move more evenly through the soil, especially in compact, dry, stressed, or hydrophobic areas.

    • Delivers a much stronger dose of soil-building organics
Uses our Organic Biostimulant at 3X the normal rate and Moisture Manager at nearly 2X the normal rate, effectively tripling the amount of soil-building organics added each year.

    • Relief at the most critical times of year
The May treatment helps the lawn recover from winter and gear up for summer, while the August treatment helps relieve heat and drought stress.

    • No risk of aeration-related damage
Because there are no heavy machines or pulled cores, there is no risk to irrigation heads, shallow utilities, or other buried obstacles. No flagging required.

    • Major savings
Even with two treatments per year, Liquid Aeration costs 30 to 40% less than a single core aeration

    • Turf struggles with disease or appears thin

    • Dog paths, moss, algae, or standing water

    • Persistent "hot spots" during summer

    • Difficulty keeping soil hydrated in high heat

    • Heavy riding mowers

    • Pets or frequent foot traffic

    • Clay or rocky soil

    • Poor drainage

    • Lack of water

    • Use a push mower unless your lawn is large and open.

    • Limit pet and foot traffic during dormancy or after rain.

  • Arkansas has increased the legal and financial risks associated with soil-disturbing services like core aeration.

The Arkansas Underground Facilities Damage Prevention Act

That means continuing to offer traditional core aeration now comes with:

    • mandatory marking with 811

      • multi-colored paint all over the property that lasts weeks

      • a 3 ft. barrier must be maintained around all markings

        • leading to significant areas left un-aerated

    • serious liability if underground lines are hit

      • fines that start at $2,500 per violation

      • escalates to more than $10,000 for repeat offenses

For us, that makes large-scale core aeration no longer practical.

We would rather be honest about that than pretend nothing has changed.
