The Natural State Lawn Program
Round 4
Seasonal Tips and Tricks
Pushing Peak Performance: Timing Nitrogen the Right Way
By the time we reach Round 4, your lawn has officially entered its prime growing season.
This is where the program's synchronicity really starts to show.
Round 1 → Weed prevention
Round 2 → Long-term nitrogen foundation
Round 3 → Potassium and stress preparation
Now it’s time to capitalize on that momentum.
Round 4 is where we shift back into a performance-driven nitrogen application, designed to push your lawn to its peak… without sacrificing the foundation we’ve already built.
What Are We Applying?
Round 4 utilizes one of the most advanced nitrogen sources available in turf management.
This is not a quick-release fertilizer. It’s a precision-controlled nitrogen source designed to deliver consistent feeding over time, without the spikes and crashes associated with traditional products.
This application is designed to push growth, density, and color at exactly the right time in the season.
Spot-Spray Weed Control (Included)
As always, any existing weeds present during this visit will be addressed using our targeted spot-spray method. While these applications are not organic, this approach dramatically reduces overall chemical usage compared to traditional blanket applications.
What to Expect After Round 4
This is where lawns really start to stand out.
You’ll notice:
A richer, deeper green color
Increased density and thickness
More uniform growth across the lawn
This is often the point where clients start getting comments like, “What are you doing to your lawn? It looks amazing!”
Pre & Post-Treatment Instructions
To get the most out of this treatment:
Make sure gates are unlocked
Remove any obstacles if possible
Keep pets inside during application
Avoid mowing immediately before or after treatment
After treatment:
Allow at least 1 hour before re-entry.
We will leave a clearly visible service sign with the date and time of application, so you and your maintenance crew can easily follow the recommended re-entry window. This helps protect anyone working in the landscape and ensures the treatment is not disrupted before it has time to fully take effect.
Watering or rainfall will help activate the granular product and move nutrients into the soil
